Aquarelle of Samba was born from a vision to celebrate the power of dance as a path of healing, joy, and self-expression.
Created by Alessandra Silva, the project blends the vibrant roots of Brazilian Samba with the fluidity and sensitivity of artistic movement – connecting body, soul, and ancestral energy.

Through workshops, performances, and community experiences..

Aquarelle of Samba invites people, especially women, to reconnect with their inner rhythm, rebuild self-confidence, and rediscover their vital energy.

Here, dance is not about competition; it’s about connection. It’s about moving with authenticity, honoring each person’s story, culture, and unique way of expressing joy.

As a Director of the Brazil Minnesota Chamber of Commerce, I have the pleasure of collaborating with Alessandra Silva on various Brazilian cultural projects in the Twin Cities. She’s more than an incredibly talented dancer and instructor. Alessandra is a multifaceted artist, capable of turning steps, movements, rhythms, wardrobe, and mixed media into true beauty. Above all, she is deeply passionate about supporting Brazilian culture and sharing its richness with the community.

It was such a beautiful experience to participate in the dance healing circle with Alessandra. Not only is she a great instructor, but she also makes you feel safe in her space. She encouraged us to dance how we would like, while also teaching us new movements.
